New Audiobook on The Way

I just approved the production of Where There Were No Innocents.  It will be available as an audiobook later this month.  It is fiction.  A couple of reviewers who read the book were disappointed to find that it wasn’t a factual, historical book. Some of the ideas do come from my assignment to MACV-SOG: ’67-68, and the structure of the organization was as described.

The scene in the radio room at the beginning of the book reflects the true story of USAF LT. James P. Fleming who was awarded the Medal of Honor.  He richly deserved the award.

Here’s a short sample of Mike McCartney’s narration from the book.  I hope you like it as much as I do.
