“Where There Were No Innocents” Scheduled for Release June 30th

I’m happy to announce my second book, the prequel to Piety and Murder, will be released on June 30th. I’ll soon have a sample posted on my author page at the Independent Author Network website. Following is a brief synopsis.

Mack Brinson is a Green Beret Captain in Vietnam at the height of the war, 1967. He’s been selected to serve on the staff of MACV-SOG, the premier covert operations unit in Southeast Asia.  His wife’s lawyer has sent him a divorce notice.  He is a lonely man. His assignments have been less than exhilarating and he has been given a mundane task.

The end of the tedious task is anything but boring.  He fights for his life in a Viet Cong attack. Excitement enough for anyone.

His loneliness soon comes to an end. Brinson meets a stunning Eurasian woman, Song and finds love he’d never expected.

After his first combat experience, his command begins sending him on Top Secret missions.  He works with a SOG Recon Team on a wiretap mission along the Ho Chi Minh Trail in Laos and becomes involved in a deadly one-on-one fight for life.

As a result of his expertise in clandestine surveillance, Brinson becomes a marked man. The North Vietnamese and Viet Cong put out orders to kill him.  Song also becomes a target.

Brinson’s combat experiences include fighting in the streets of Saigon during the infamous Tet offensive to rescue a wounded comrade.

Where There Were No Innocents is a true-to-life story of war written by a man who is a former Green Beret, who served with MACV-SOG.

  1. Congrats!!!!!!!!!

  2. I have had te honor to review parts of this thriller prior to its release and as a writer, I am excited to get a copy and read it cover to cover. If you like a book that will keep you up at night and make a page turner out of you, try this one. I highly recommend it.
